Review #624
This one is going to be a low 2/5 rating for me, because of r@&* only. The audiobook was going well overall and I had some predictions and I was hooked throughout, then the “climatic” big end scene that’s supposed to have all the feels was r@&*.
This angers me more than anything else. Yes, almost every thriller has some sort of SA, which is frustrating by itself. IF you disagree, give me a list of 5 thrillers that don’t & I’ll gladly try them. But, when there aren’t trigger warnings and the entire plot is headed towards the reveal of on-page r@&* I get so mad I wish I hadn’t ever started it. There’s only one other book I had also actually finished that had this same pattern (a popular fantasy romance) and I gave that one a 1/5 stars. This one I’ll do a 2/5 just because the rest of the story was fine.
Because of forementioned issues, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
