What are the monsters of your story (which could be philosophical)?
The story is based around the concept of prejudice and slavery being unacceptable. I wanted to convey the importance of this lesson to the younger generation through a story. This way they can see cause and effect in a lighter way whilst learning.
Why would you want to write a book?
Personally, I believe if you think you have a story to tell then why shouldn’t you tell it? If you believe you can do it – then do it. You can do it – if you want it and never give up.
What’s your biggest obstacles to writing?
My health. Like many people I juggle health conditions alongside my writing which can hinder or prevent writing for a while after treatments, flare ups and so on. But I find my mental health is probably my biggest assailant as like most people when I feel down, I find writing very difficult.
What is your next series idea?
The next series I am working on is another Young Adult paranormal fantasy. But this time we have a shroud of ghosts and ghouls to fall in love with, fear and hate. Apart from that I have a few Paranormal Romances on their way. You can keep up to date on my social media, my website or newsletter.
Give a shout out to another author who deserves some recognition.
There are so many wonderful authors and writers out there and many are friends, so choosing just one is very hard but if I had to it would be- Mary R. Woldering author of voices in crystal and wow what a read it is. So if you love adventure, fantasy and a little paranormal mixed in then check out her series because it’s absolutely awesome!
Tell me your protagonists’ favorite type of music?
Akantha would probably be a great lover of all things rock. She’s a born warrior and a fairy in control.
Tell me your protagonists’ favorite animal?
Tell me your protagonists’ favorite food?
Seya Bread fresh from the oven with a lashing of butter and human beer to wash it down.
What are your top 3 books you read in 2021?
- Voices in crystal (Mary R. Waldering)
- Earths Angels – Beth Worsdel
- Cathedral – Dave Jeffery
What are your writing goals for 2022?
I would love it if I could get 4 books published next year – hopefully the final instalment of the Xander Chase series too.
Tell me about a book you’d like to advertise.
