What’s your pen name and tell me about the books you like to write.
I use my real name for writing, Sanam Asif. But I am really considering to have a pen name for the mystery books I plan to release. I love to write Romance. I love taking readers to a whole new world with my writing. I have only released two books, but I plan to release more and hope people like it.
What’s a secret your hero or heroine might keep from one another?
The name of my upcoming mystery series is, “The secrets we keep” and I know both hero and heroine will be keeping lots of secrets from one another. Specially, who they killed J
What is your first sentence of your most recent novel?
“That house near the bakery, I loved it because it was where I planned to kill him, and boy, I sure looked forward to it.”

What celebrity do you think would like you books most and why?
Tom Hardy! I hope. God, he is the only man on my mind when I am writing.
What time of day do you do your best writing and why?
Night time, when the kids are asleep. I need to be able to hear my own thoughts. Throughout the day that seems impossible.
What are you biggest obstacles in writing and how do you overcome them?
Procrastination. I have downloaded a transcription app on my phone and whenever I have something I want to write, I just speak and the app notes it down for me. I find this very helpful because finally when I sit and write, I have notes.
Which character would you take on a date and why?
Mr. Darcy because of his chivalry. I want to go out with a bonafide gentleman and Mr. Darcy is certainly one.
Tell me why you’re passionate about writing.
Because it lets me make my thoughts alive. I have always been the kind of person who likes to get lost in their own little world. I love magic, romance, fantasy and by writing them, I feel alive.

What are your 2022 goals?
I am working on the final part of my trilogy, Born from Fire, Eternal Flame Book Three. I plan to release that in the first quarter of 2022. I also have a pirate romance in the works that I will be releasing in fall, 2022.
