Review #64

Title- One Day

Rating– 3/5

Genre- Women’s Fiction

POV- Third person, past tense

My emotions- On board with the journey, then frustrated

Characters

Dexter Mayhew- never likeable

Emma Morley

Plot/Blurb-

It’s 1988 and Dexter and Emma have only just met. But after only one day together, they cannot stop thinking about one another. Over twenty years, snapshots of that relationship are revealed on the same day—July 15th—of each year. Dex and Em face squabbles and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. And as the true meaning of this one crucial day is revealed, they must come to grips with the nature of love and life itself.

Best part-

Their vacation trip together

What I’d change-

The ending.

Quote-
“You can live your whole life not realizing that what you’re looking for is right in front of you.”

“Whatever happens tomorrow, we had today; and I’ll always remember it”
