What’s your pen name and tell me about the books you like to write.
My pen name is Taryn Rivers. I love writing romantic suspense. Something about two people falling in love while facing danger does it for me. I’m also all about small towns and a big cast of characters just waiting to get their stories told.
What character of yours would you cast an evil curse on if possible?
Cindy Beck AKA “The Wicked Bitch of the North-” I hate selfish people.
What character of yours would you bless with a magical gift?
My first thought was Bree, my heroine, because she’s had it rough, but then my mind went to Josie. She blesses everyone with her own brand of tough love. Bartenders hear so many stories. Wouldn’t it be great if they could wave a magic wand and make it all better for their favorite customers?
What character of yours would you tell all your secrets to and why?
Sadie. She’s a vault when it comes to secrets, but she also has no problem calling it how she sees it and gives great advice.

Tell me why you’re passionate about writing.
I’ve always loved reading and dreamed of writing my own novel. I love digging into my characters, learning about them, and bringing them alive on the pages.
What book do you want to read next?
Brynne Asher is participating in the Snowed Inn For Christmas Anthology along with Layla Frost, Elle Christensen, a several other awesome authors. I can’t wait to get my hot little hands on the ARC for Brynne’s contribution to the anthology. It’s publishing on November 9, but you can pre-order now.
What are your 2022 goals:
The plan is to publish three books next year, starting with Whiskey Dream, the second book in my Whiskey Falls series.
