Review #617
This is a sequel to Belladonna but feels different because Blythe also has a PoV. I listened to most of it on audio but also own the physical hardcovers since they’re gorgeous.
Obsessed with the love triangle with a pair of brothers. I like that part of the story more than the whole dunnit mystery.
So probably about halfway through I started thinking that Blythe is Life, not Signa. That idea was reinforced when her point of view kept having interactions with the prince. However if Adalyn Grace wanted to keep this a secret, she should’ve continued Fate to interact with Signa too. It’s almost like their meetings seemed to stop partially through.
I liked this more than the first and rate it a 4.8/5 stars.
I’m on to Wisteria asap and can’t wait to continue more. I almost wish Foxglove ended with more of a heartbreaker moment and she was forced to marry Fate instead. It would’ve been more of an “Aaaaah” moment.
