I gave this audio romcom a 4.1/5 stars. I’d recommend reading if you like rivals in work romance & 2nd chance trope. It was easy to listen to and I enjoyed their accents.
I think they could’ve come up with a better title. But it’s fine. In the beginning I was confused that Finley & Stanley were the same friend. Also, I never caught how much time had passed between then and now until I grabbed onto sprinkled details. 13 years is a super long time to pine over someone.
He started to get annoying when he couldn’t make up his mind of should we or shouldn’t we.
I loved the autism representation and thought it was done well.
The CEO villain was almost too much over the top. Surely there can’t be bosses out there THAT despicable.
It was nice to see that not every relationship with an ex is toxic.
The Lord of the Rings fascination was a great unique perk.
