Unfortunately The Traitor’s Game couldn’t keep my attention. I’m unsure if that was due to being YA or because of the political aspects… that I usually don’t care about.

Kestra was likeable enough as a heroine (princess) since she tried to save her driver and servant so many times. (That reminds me there was a lot of unneeded repetition)

I really liked that there were two points of view and was written in first person narrative but it felt too slow. I wasn’t invested enough.

This is the first in a series.
