Review #530
I would’ve rated this thriller a 4.3 until the last 30 minutes (of the audio) which deserved a 4.7 so I’ll average that to a total of 4.5/5 stars!
My random ramblings while reading:
The bullying from Kenzie is absolutely infuriating and exhausting.
It’s interesting how the author makes the most mundane tasks of going to school and work interesting based off the relationships and potential “what might happen…?”
Chapter 40… ew. Gross. So much toxicity. Yuck
Just another thriller with a rat of a male character. Does every thriller have only dead beat men? I mean, yes, it seems realistic since the percentage of terrible men are so common in books but it’s depressing. Once in a while I’d enjoy a story that doesn’t have gaslighting or emotional abuse or pedophilic behaviors.
Woah 7 hours into it when Part 2 starts Nate has his first point of view…????
The dirty stilettos detail is perfect. Chef’s kiss
There were more twists at the end than I expected and all were unpredictable so I’m very satisfied that I didn’t guess them!
Jay!! Aaah! Oh my
