Review #403
5/5 perfection for “Bring Me Your Midnight” by Rachel Griffin. Im obsessed with all her books so far and am officially her biggest fan. I want to be on her ARCs if possible and will give my soul to be added to that list. Someone, make it happen.
An arranged marriage, set into motion for more than a decade, between an influential witch, Tana, and the governor’s son, Landon, from the mainland.
Who are the threats of the moonflower and why!?!
Everything was too smooth and too good to be true with Landon. Of course I can’t trust that.
Enter Wolfe. I already love his character and want to know everything out his dark AKA high magic.
The fact that all her books have a nature element infused is perfection.
In chapter 13 her time with Landon is so ordinary, so plain and vanilla. It’s a perfect way to compare her time with Wolfe.
Ivy reinforcing the Forbidden Love is perfect.
The halfway point is very-much a turning point in everything and I love the introduction to this new location and the meaning of the moonflower.
“He comes alive in the darkness, so darkness I become.”
Their magic is so breathtaking. I’m in awe of Rachel Griffin’s ability.
Oooh chapter 36 was rough
The sex scene was written sooo creatively to fit within YA genre.
Omg. This is just the perfect book. I want to live inside this world.
(The ONE chapter in Wolfe’s point of view was brilliant)
Okay, Rachel, go write your next book. And hurry.
