This series was a choice for a local book club.
Early on this book is hitting a bit too close to home and so I’ll need to read an easy escape at the same time to not feel too stressed.
Side complaint- There are a lot of side characters to keep track of.
Okay. I made it to page 75. I had put the book down for a few days to read a fluffier romcom in between. Then I read another chapter of a Before I Let Go and still had to stop around page 75 because it’s too realistic.
I’m going to DNF for now but it’s only because of my own post partum depression that I’m not wanting to relive. This may be a great book for me 10 years from now so I won’t donate this to a friend but hang onto it and retry down the road.
The biggest strength was there dialogue so far.
