Very cute cover
Great premise. A videographer interviewer needs to shack up with hottie hero from the coast guard who once rescued a dog and went viral.
However I was struggling with the female main character’s body image issues. the extreme diet and negative talk was hard to work through. Obviously it’s probably one of her themes and flaws she makes progress through and grows stronger with as the story continues but I wasn’t interested in that. I read for escapism instead of reliving my own issues.
And the audio narrator spoke too staccato that started to get annoying by chapter 3 so the voice didn’t work for me.
I also didn’t like that Hutch was described as the most attractive man on the planet. I kind of want the guy to not always be drop dead gorgeous.
