Review #615
This audiobook was a pleasant read that didn’t rub me the wrong way at all. It will get lost in my mind among the others in the genre since it didn’t stand out in a unique way, but I enjoyed my time with the story.
I really enjoyed that Declan had his own narrator.
I don’t like that Abby kept comparing Declan to a father figure or pastoral figure who needed to approve of her in the beginning.
The climatic scene felt a bit lacking without enough punch. I wanted to see the family’s reaction to learning shed been lying to them. And her friend Lauren needed to be in more scenes.
I wanted more spice from the sex scene too.
Overall I’d recommend this to others.
