I didn’t finish Prey No More mainly because:
1. It’s in third person narrative & y’all know I have trouble with that
2. There were too many characters introduced too quickly. I was a bit overwhelmed of what to keep track of. However, I did love the unique names of her characters & settings.
I appreciate the trigger warnings and love that I got a signed copy by the author. (Sidenote from the authors note- Ironically the first book I wrote also stemmed from a dream. So we’re twinsies on that front.)
For a debut, Stevi’s sentence structure is evolved & fluid but there’s a lot of use of filtering words which was distracting for me.
