What is your favorite genre or subgenre and why?
I like to explore different genres. Because as humans we have different feelings and I feel like different genres can bring a certain feeling.
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros
What is one of your favorite 5 star reads?
This year, I had the pleasure to read an eARC, Find Grace by Loretta Rothschild. And I can say it’s my favorite read of 2025!!!
Do you have any unique reading quirks?
I love multi POVs! I like to get inside the characters heads and know their perspectives to the story.
Who is one of your favorite Indie authors and why?
Lara Martin is my top favorite Indie authors. Her writing very researched and engaging. Also, I enjoy her sense of humor.
Who is one of your favorite traditional published authors and why?
Recently, it has been Freida McFadden. I’m usually really good at figuring out the plot or the twist to the stories. But, McFadden is really good at throwing some unpredictable plot twists!
What bookstagram accounts do you love to follow and why?
@rachel.top.reads because her page is unique. She supports indie authors and has quotes of the day. Very different from most bookstagram accounts. I also love @shonnareads because she is not afraid to use her voice!
What’s one of your favorite bookstores and why does it stand out?
Half Price Books is my favorite! I love going in not knowing what I’ll find!!
What’s a book on your upcoming TBR list or wishlist? Why can’t you wait to read it?
His Face Is The Sun, is now on my TBR. It’s a SciFi romantasy and I’m excited to read this epic adventure!!
What book character would you want to be for a day?
I would like to be Katarina from The Favorites by Layne Fargo.
What book character would you kill if you’d never get caught?
Ooo!! You got me there! I honestly don’t think I could. Very character in a story play an important role to make a story great.
What book character would you marry without consequences (what book are they from)?
Elm from One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns!!!
