Review #559

I’d rate this audio a 4.5/5 stars.

If I’m not mistaken this is my first book read by this author. It flowed fluidly with average prose that dint have hiccups or difficulties.

I enjoyed the work force dynamics and how Whitney had the seniority over him. Yet sexually, he took charge which was an intriguing change of pace.

The relationships with her best friend, Mary & sister, Bri, were deep and meaningful which brought out the reality of her persona.

Henry’s voice for the narrator didn’t seem to match the illustrated cartoon on the cover, but beggars can’t be choosers. He fell for her hard and fast with insta-like. I wanted him to have a few more flaws. Once in a while Whitney told him her limits and he pushed back against that a few too many times which I was unsure about, but overall I liked this romcom and would read more by this author.
