Review #554

I gave this standalone thriller a 4.5/5 stars. It was terrifying in theory. (Less so since the narrators voice sounded almost comical half the time).

It was a bit strange to have half the points of view being in the mind of an 11 year old. After reading so many of her books in a row, there are some repetitive patterns I’ve found in Freida’s writing. It’s usually the naive female friend who is guilty. She does her research with medical bas knowledge and being drugged.

The back and forth seesaw she does is still tiresome sometimes. But I like her plots and twists.
