I listened to First Lie Wins on audio and gave it a 3.6/5 stars. It was average but quite boring in the middle. I really enjoyed the ending
So some problems I have throughout (warning- spoilers):
How much is she getting paid in order to pay Devon?
How is Mr. Smith impossibly aware of EVERYTHING
It doesn’t feel like their Instagram commenting system is functional or sustainable to be effective to rely on. So that’s not believable.
If she worked with top government guys then wouldn’t her face already be state wide and recognizable for when she takes on a new alias?
And when she was arrested & asked for the judge’s help to get her out, how did they know it was her since she had a different name?
