Review #521

Totally effed up book … but I was into it.

I hated that I was so invested even tho it was so screwy. This psychological thriller won’t let me sleep well tonight that’s for sure. I usually only listen to audios while driving but started listening at home too to learn what happened.

Alex makes a podcast with a neighbor woman, Josie, who comes to her with a traumatic story involving family drama.

Throughout the entire story the reader questions what’s real and truth.

I’d give this one a 4.7 even though halfway I wanted to give it a 2.0 for pedophile possibilities. But because of (spoilers…) I think I’ll settle on a 4.6/5 stars overall.

There’s not much else to say. It had a bunch of narrators so it felt like real podcast episodes were included.
