Review #515

This is the first book I’ve read by Freida McFadden and rate it a 4.6/5 stars. I’d try other books by her too.

This is the fastest I’ve read a book in quite some time. Within 24 hours I finished this page turner. The prose were average but the short, easy chapters made it for a quick fly thru. This thriller had two points of view, which surprised me halfway. Then I needed to reread the prologue from a new perspective.

Around page 100 things started getting a bit repetitive but I pushed through and am glad I did.

At the halfway point I was judging Millie to be quite stupid and annoying but (shrug emoji). I have a few theories about what the twist will be at the end.

Chapter 45 is so messed up.

I wonder if any thrillers don’t have triggers for me or if that’s the whole point…
