I absolutely love books about books. But it’s really hard for me to read third person narrative. I didn’t finish this one.
When Tess and Eliot uncover an ancient book hidden in a secret tunnel beneath their school library, they unwittingly release a devil imprisoned within its pages. Determined to secure his freedom, the devil begins to manipulate the ink of library books to carry out his sinister plans, resorting to murder in the stacks and infiltrating every aspect of Tess’s life. With their friends and loved ones in jeopardy, Tess and Eliot must join forces to find a way to re-capture the devil before he claims more victims. As the stakes rise and their bond deepens, the pressures of school life fade in comparison to the dark threat they face. Together, they must confront the malevolent force they’ve unleashed and fight for their lives—and each other.
