What is your favorite genre or subgenre?

Fantasy because there are dragons

What are you currently reading?

Forgotten Kingdom series by Isabella Khalidi

What is one of your favorite 5 star reads?

The Divine and the Cursed by JE Reed

Do you have any unique reading quirks?

I love when dual perspective more than single POV. I love morally grey since no one is black and white. I prefer standalone, but also love when they are interconnected within a series. I will read continuous series (involving a single main character), but if there are more than 4 books, I might never take the time to read it.

Who is one of your favorite authors and why?

SL Prater. She has the best banter in her books, and they are just so fun to read.

What bookstagram accounts do you love to follow and why?

I follow a lot of author accounts.

What’s a book on your upcoming TBR list or wishlist? Why can’t you wait to read it?

The Wraith King by Juliette Cross. I’ve been waiting (im)patiently for it ever since I read her short story, King’s and Bones, from that world, in The Lovely Dark anthology. I loved her Stay a Spell series, and want to see how she does with darker fantasy.

Who is your favorite villain and why?

Probably Chloe form KM Shea's Gates of Myth and Power. She can shape-shift into a black cat.

Please introduce us to your furry reading helpers.

This is Phoebe. She is 3 years old. She is my husband’s cat, but she demands I give her scratches/pets every morning in this spot in the sun.
This is Freyja. She is 8 years old. She spends all day outside chasing squirrels and birds, or laying about, then comes inside to sleep in my rocking chair at night.
This is Cleo. She is 10 years old. Every night while I’m reading she lays stretched out in my lap.

ALL DONE!!! Thanks for reading the interview!
