The reason why I didn’t continue is because there is a lot of exposition and a few too many unnecessary metaphors that slow down the pace and confuse me of the vibe intended since the imagery often contradicts each other.
I love the idea of the seven bad omens and Gigi seemed like a great character.
Also- On audio, the long ingredients list and recipe between chapters was tedious and unneeded. I wish that was put at the end.
