Review #480
I don’t take many notes on my audiobooks since I’m driving while listening. I gave this one a sturdy 4/5. I absolutely love the male narrator’s voice and recognized him from a different romcom. This one definitely has a little steam which I appreciate. Being the naive one that I am, I was unaware that it can be heard outside the car. So that created a fun moment.
Anyways I was hesitant about the possible solution to their problem of wanting different things since it seemed like one of them would’ve had to sacrifice their dreams. Also I didn’t like the possibility of the plot of “baby at age 37 & forced to start over.”
But thankfully I was satisfied with the resolution.
The characters were realistic and likeable. The writing flowed well and I enjoyed the animals throughout.
