Review #447

This was a sweet, cute, clean “get to know each other” pre-dating romcom novella where the characters actually had depth in a short duration. I’d give it a 4/5 stars.

Here’s my random notes:

The notification beep for each of their incoming voice messages is quite annoying so I’m glad it stopped.

Her accent seems to be less defined when she speaks to Elliott.

I love that they’re in their mid 30s and have so much conversation to get to know each other.

OMG in chapter 11 I realized this MMC is the brother of the FMC in Call Me Maybe.

In chapter 20 I’m a little annoyed that so much of the chapter is overlaying with the author’s other novella. It’s the same conversation word for word.

It’s rare that we don’t learn the FMC’s name until so late in the story.
